I've needed a better flash than the on-board and this was the first thing that seemed decent, compatible and affordable. I had a pack of batteries waiting for it, but someone (won't point fingers at roommate who knew I had the batteries and chews up AAs like snackfood) appears to have ganked two of them. Testing will wait til tomorrow now. Going to a wine tasting in the evening. My Rebel XT is attending as well ;) Cool. Will have to research compatibility.
